Watching the world go by. Driving home across Mexico - we were passing through a small town - when here on a rise just off the highway - yes, on the lateral- were 2 men in butchers aprons - sitting chatting overlooking the flow of traffic. I was struck by memories of going to the airport on Maui (Hawaii) as a kid to watch the people! "Where are they going? Where have they been ? What's that in the pack? Wow what were they wearing that for? Did you see what they were driving?"
And then cut in images of a barn yard - the cows are lining up for milking. The guys have all gathered around with fresh grated cacao and dash of coffee and a helping of alcohol to have their "milk" for the day <grin> You have to understand that the alcohol is most often moonshine - and they'll tell you they are not drinking - it's to sterilize the milk <giggle>. When I hear one of the cows say to the other... "Where were they going? Where have they been? Whats going on with the bull? Think he'll get lucky? Where's he going ? Who do you think they'll meet when they get there?"
Now as the instigators of this whole sideways line of thought were butchers on the bypass .. you'll need (for now) to put on your visual creative genius caps and follow along the cows narrative. Where are they going? - picture a meat plant Where have they been? - Picture big open pasture full of girl cows in dancing girl costumes and tutus. What going on with the bull? - Insert picture of bull dreaming of dancing Swan Lake in a bright pink tutu Think he'll get lucky? - keep seeing that bull dancing Swan Lake - every idea of lucky is different lol Where's he going? - picture a side of beef Who will he meet when he gets there? - Picture 3 chickens hanging on the line next to the side of beef.
yes yes I know .. sick humor <GRIN> but you laughed didn't you!
